Dear Terraset Elementary School Parents, Staff and Community Members: We are beginning the search for a new principal for Terraset Elementary School. An important step in this procedure is to inform parents, staff, and community members about the principal selection process. An important meeting was held on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 7 p.m. This meeting was held virtually and can be viewed here. https://myfcpsk12.zoom.us/rec/share/aN6jhvcexLSNeKgIBIGIKx7EXFQbIHicze9sVOJOA6i7w5mYAXC-JOdNRLV7asvh.tUDTsTH0L8VFIadv At Wednesday’s meeting, we outlined the multiple levels of interviews that will take place to select a candidate who is the best fit and match to lead Terraset Elementary School. A panel interview will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. The advisory panel will be comprised of three staff representatives and three parent (or community) representatives from the Terraset community. If you are interested in serving as a panelist, please submit your information by close of business on Friday, October 27, 2023 using the google link Advisory Panel Interest. The Region 1 Leadership Team will review all submissions and select staff and community members to serve as either panelists or alternates for these interviews. The Department of Human Resources will contact the individuals who are selected to serve in this capacity. Another critical component to the process is your written input. We invite you to offer your individual, written input via email regarding the skills, experience, and leadership characteristics needed for Terraset Elementary School. You might also address any challenges or issues that a new principal will need to address. Your input is confidential. Below you will see suggestions for input and how to submit it to the Department of Human Resources by Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
