Box Tops for Education

Box Tops for Education was started in 1996 with just a few cereal products and has now grown to include hundreds of products over multiple product lines. There are now several ways to collect Box Tops:

  1. Each Box Top "coupon" is worth 10 cents, as long as it has a valid Expiration date and product code.

  2. There is also an updated Box Tops App, as the program moves to a digital format.

  3. Lastly, Safeway still has eBoxTops available through the Safeway just for U App.

Clip vs. Scan

To send in physical coupons, just clip Box Tops coupons from participating products and send them in [BUT - they must have a valid expiration date, and the product code]. When sending to Terraset, please make sure to label with your student name and teacher so they can be entered to any current contest. There are collection boxes in the main office, each "pod" area, and the library. This year, we will likely have one year-long collection contest.

For digital scans on the Box Top App, you will scan your receipt. When you purchase a partiicpating product, scan the receipt within 14 days. The App will give you credit* for the Box Top, along with any Bonus offers. If there is a physical coupon, send that to the school and Terraset gets credit for both the App and the physical coupon clip. When you download the App for the first time, for 24 hours you have the ability to scan receipts as far back as 4/15/2019.

Coca-Cola Give

The current Coca-Cola Give program started a few years ago, with the donation of the codes available on Coca-Cola brand products. These codes translate to dollars and earn anywhere from 5¢ to 38¢ (and sometimes doubled) based on what product it is from: bottle caps, to fridge packs, to bulk size.

Collect codes from Coke-brand products and send them to the school. Codes are located under caps, inside the tear-off flap on fridge packs, and on multi-pack wraps and boxes - sometimes inside the box, or on a black/gray box on the bottom of shrink-wrap. When sending in to Terraset, please make sure to label with your student name and teacher, so they can be entered in to any current contest. There are collections boxes in the main office, each “pod area, and the library. Typically, we have one year-long contest, and 2-3 short contests throughout the year.

Locate those friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers who are regular Coke-brand drinkers and ask them to save their codes. Consider setting up a collection bowl or bag in the lunch room (make sure to get permission, as needed!)
